1. Who we are

FeelChosen is operated by Dr.Mood Inc. We act as the data controller for personal information processed through the Service. You can reach us at support@ever-songs.com for any privacy-related question.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

• Quiz answers — the choices you make during the 60-second onboarding quiz, including your first name and your partner's first name if you provide them.
• Account details — email address, hashed password (or a Google sign-in token), and profile settings.
• Contact details — phone number (only if you choose to receive WhatsApp reminders).
• Reflections and journal entries — anything you write inside the app in response to a daily prompt.
• Support messages — content of emails, WhatsApp or in-app messages you send us.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Device, browser and operating system information.
• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, timestamps.
• Approximate location derived from IP address (country / region).
• Cookies and similar technologies (see section 8).

2.3 Information from third parties

• Stripe — billing metadata such as subscription status, last four digits of the card, country of the card, and renewal dates. We never see or store your full card number, CVC, or bank credentials.
• Google — if you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile info.

3. How we use your information

• To generate and personalise your daily plan.
• To create and secure your account.
• To process payments, coupons and subscription renewals via Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (welcome, receipt, password reset, plan updates).
• To send WhatsApp messages you have explicitly opted in to.
• To improve the Service and diagnose bugs (in aggregate).
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.

4. Legal bases (EU/UK users)

• Contract — to deliver the Service you purchased.
• Consent — for optional WhatsApp reminders and marketing.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure and improve it.
• Legal obligation — accounting, tax, fraud prevention.

5. What we never do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share your data with advertising networks.
• We do not email or message anyone in your life on your behalf.
• We do not publish your reflections or quiz answers.
• Charges appear on your billing statement as Feelchosen - Wife Plan.

6. Sharing with service providers

We share limited personal data with trusted providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• Supabase — database, authentication, storage.
• Stripe — payments and subscription management.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Twilio — WhatsApp and SMS delivery (only if you opt in).
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN and security.
• OpenAI / AI providers — generating your personalised plan text (we send only the minimum needed prompt fields).

Some of these providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or similar safeguards.

7. Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, tax and accounting requirements. You can request deletion at any time (see section 9). Billing records are retained for the period required by law (typically 6–10 years, depending on jurisdiction).

8. Cookies

We use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your quiz progress, and a small amount of anonymised analytics to understand how the Service is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete your data (“right to be forgotten”);
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• export your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent (e.g. for WhatsApp messages) at any time;
• lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@ever-songs.com from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access, least-privilege service accounts and audit logging. No system is 100% secure, but we treat your intimacy the way we would want ours treated — with real care.

11. Children

FeelChosen is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please email us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice.
